Abyss guitars are CEM’s most regal shred machines, with innovative design elements and modern features that deliver monster tone and ultra-fast playability for the latest generation of shredders.
The Abyss features a mahogany body, a bolt on maple neck with disymetrical flat C shape. Hosting 24 jumbo frets and a 10”- 14” compound radius bound palissander fingerboard curves more powerfully at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the body for low action bends.
Equipped with Seymour Duncan Black Winter pickups which are as dark and vicious as the winters in Scandinavia with excessive grime and aggression; the right balance of mids, treble and bass to instantly take you from annihilating riffs to solos with cutting articulation. The Black Winter fills the needs of extreme metal guitarists with a tone that provides crushing distortion, punishing mids and lots of aggressive saturation and string sensitivity.. Dive and soar expressively with the Floyd Rose® lo-pro genuine double-locking tremolo bridge system, recessed for pick hand comfort and providing laser-accurate intonation and ultra-stable tuning.
A commanding figure onstage or in the studio, the Abyss is available in Matte Black, Matte grey and Matte Red finishes.
